Overview
The Inter-American Training Program for Innovations in Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATIEID; pronounced "eye-ah-tied") program is an inter-disciplinary fellowship for advanced-level (in most cases, post-doctoral) trainees sponsored by NIH's Fogarty International Center through the "Framework Programs for Global Health Innovation" and organized by Tulane University, in collaboration with other consortium institutions in Argentina, Peru, and the U.S.
Consortium institutions include Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD), Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH, Lima, Peru), Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (UNI, Lima, Peru), the Instituto de Efectividad Clinica y Sanitaria (IECS, Buenos Aires, Argentina), and the University of Buenos Aires (affiliated with IECS).
