Asociacion Benefica PRISMA - A.B. PRISMA is a Peruvian non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of Peruvian families in extreme poverty. PRISMA seeks to support sustainable human and economic development through projects in health, reproductive health, nutrition, and agriculture, as well as through projects that improve incomes and provide access to economic opportunities for these same populations. Since it was founded in 1986, PRISMA has carried out health, family planning, and nutrition programs throughout Peru with both the public and private sectors. The institution has a national staff of over 400, a quarter of whom are medical and other health professionals, who are located throughout the Lima-based central office, six regional offices, and 16 satellite offices. PRISMA's research division is comprised of physicians, epidemiologists, nurses, nutritionists, computer systems specialists, social workers, economists, and anthropologists.

Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) - The Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health draws on all public health disciplines and applies them to international settings. The Department of International Health prepares professionals from other countries to assume major positions of leadership roles upon their return home and trains U.S. health professionals for roles in international agencies and in collaborative overseas projects. It offers master's degrees and doctoral training for research, as well as doctoral training in public health practice.

Instituto de Efectividad Clinica y Sanitaria (IECS) - IECS is an independent, non-profit organization created by professionals from the medical and social sciences and devoted to research, education, and technical support, with the main goal of improving the efficiency, equity, quality, and sustainability of health care systems and policies. IECS aims to conduct and promote research and evaluation projects and to generate scientific and epidemiological knowledge to respond to local demands. It collaborates with public and non-governmental organizations, as well as with private institutions, to provide technical assistance to identify strategies to improve the accessibility to and quality of health care, to promote the efficient utilization of health care technologies and to reduce unnecessary costs and expenditures.

Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM) - The Tulane SPHTM is recognized as one of the foremost public health schools in the nation and is the only School of Public Health in the U.S. with a Department of Tropical Medicine. The SPHTM is comprised of six departments: Biostatistics and Bioinformatics; Global Community Health Sciences; Global Environmental Health Sciences; Epidemiology; Global Health Systems and Development; and Tropical Medicine. Each department offers several public health academic curricula, including master's and doctoral programs.

Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (UNI) - The Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria is a public university devoted to engineering, founded in 1876. The mission of UNI is to develop leaders in science, engineering, and architecture, equipping them with skills for research, technological innovation, and management, so that they can contribute to the welfare of society and to Peru's development. The UNI campus is located only five blocks from the main UPCH campus, allowing many opportunities for collaborative research and training activities.

Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) - UPCH is one of the foremost universities of Latin America. It was established in 1967 and has a faculty of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and veterinary medicine. It has served as the base of three NIH ICIDR grants and multiple NIH R01 grants. In addition to its close collaboration with JHSPH and Tulane, UPCH also has close relations with the University of Washington and the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
